Redheaded Giants: In the Corner of an Eye, Where Fairies Play

I’ve heard it they, be hid by light.
The light of the day, and that of the night.
Moon beams glint refracting hair.
Sunlight sinks in all that is there.

Greens, greys, browns and reds.
Stealthy, silent, still, as dead.
Massive, beasts, with human heads.
watching from leaves, branch and hedge.

A snap, a twig, betray in a away.
A corner of an eye, where fairies play.
A turn, a blink, a whoop, a cry,
Into thin air, magic, like crime.
Stolen away, this thief of my sight.
hidden in daylight, and pale moon lit night.
